An Experiment with Peach Kernel & Walnut Exfoliating Masque

Experimenting with beauty products for the face is something I hardly do. I'm not sure if I have sensitive skin because I've never once gone to a dermatologist to have this tested. But there've been several instances where friends would ask what happened to face because out of nowhere, red spots would be on it.  I also have dry skin....itches like crazy, it's very uncomfortable.

But while trying to flush my mind from stress the other day by window shopping, I picked this out from Watson's, on a whim.

At only Php 75.00, I thought, it wouldn't be a waste to "experiment" on, in case I didn't like the product or if my skin would break out after using it. Besides my face badly needed exfoliating...but I was too cheap to get an actual facial. And facials hurt!

Anyway, that night, I tried this product and was pretty pleased to find that after washing it off my face, it did feel a lot smoother and softer.

The next day, I noticed my cheeks were a bit flushed, like I had dabbed it with blush. And apparently, it was that way the whole day. See? --->

This photo was taken by mid-afternoon. If I can't experiment with facial products, it's the same for blushes.  I have a few blush and cheek tints in my stash but I seldom use them because the minute I put anything on, I turn to Ms. Red Polka Dots.

Suffice to say, I wasn't wearing any blush for this photo. I only had Johnson's Face Powder on. And the fabulous Nyx Round Lipstick in Raisin is from Digital Traincase! (LOVE!)

So, Peach Kernel & Walnut Exfoliating Masque? I think I found a winner! I wonder if the rest of their products are just as good and effective for my skin?
