That's my excuse and it's what I'm gonna say when, once again, a few packages will arrive at home this weekend. :P
I confess, I have not been able to put a stop to this unhealthy spending for bags. I'm usually good at waiting, tempering and making sure I exercise practicality over needless spending. But the last couple of weeks, I've been really bad at it. :{ Guilt is slowly gnawing through my system.
Last night, I received a text message from Rootote confirming which of these two I'm getting:
I ended up on their site after clicking and following links and saw that they were actually having a month-long sale. The prices were not bad and ordinarily I would think more than once to get these items at their original prices.
But because the prices have been cut to 50%, I could not resist sending an email expressing my interest on two bags.
These are also eco-bags which have this built-in roo pockets inside, I may not need having a bag organizer. It's cute and functional, thus, perfectly what I want from a bag.
The style I picked (Medium) didn't have a zipper on the top side, which really works for me since I don't normally zip my bag when inside stores. (I just tuck it really close to my pits!)
So anyway, when I didn't receive any feedback the next day after emailing them, I thought I've been saved, I mean, my wallet has been spared. But around 9ish pm, someone did try to confirm and was waiting for my reply.
Oh, how I tried rationalizing to myself! Here's how it went in my head:
- Oh, no! Now I have to confirm about getting one!
- But I just got a new bag!
- But this one's on sale!!!
- I may not get the same designs again!
- I may not even be able to buy from that site again!
- Oooh, which one should I get?
- Go with the kangaroo! The kangaroo's unique.
- Right! If I have to get a bag that says Rootote on it, it might as well have a kangaroo in the print!
- But that's a rabbit, not a roo!
Anyway, I'm just waiting to hear from them about getting my payment and shipment schedule.
Thing was, before I go text confirmation from Rootote, I just closed a deal on E-bay and bought this Japanese tote with Feiler prints.
Though this one only costs about P250, including shipping, the fact is --- I just bought one bag too many and would have to exercise discipline for real this time!
So, tell me is that popular Bagaholic site a place where I should sign up for a 12-step program to stop this addiciton?
